Yogurt and Fruit Smoothie

I’m always on the run and that leads to bad choices in my diet.  There is almost no place you can go and grab a quick bite that doesn’t tempt you with super sizing, adding fries or dipping in some caloric laden sauce.   So, as a new habit, I’m pulling out my blender, my giant reusable straw equipped glass and just a few good for you items that make a great and filling snack.

You can blend nearly any fruit and toss in fat free yogurt or a banana and blend up a refreshing and healthy smoothie.  I make this in the morning with my

Makes 1 Serving (giant)

1 –  Container of your favorite yogurt (in this picture it was harvest peach)
1 –  Gala Apple, cored and sliced
1 –  Nectarine, pit removed
2 –  Cups crushed ice or ice cubes
a dash of water

Put everything in blender and blend until smooth.  If you can’t get the blender moving, add just a little more water until the ingredients start to move.
